Kevlar Wir…

Kevelar Wire is made of high-temperature resistant material with a high ignition point. It is woven to have a bright light beige color, smooth texture, and a continuous filament construction. The specifications are categorized in units of “D” (denier), and the tensile strength increases with the addition of more filaments.

Advantages:

  1. High strength: 20.92 cN/dtex.
  2. Linear density: 1.667, heavier than water, sinks in water.
  3. Resistant to cutting and excellent thermal stability, does not melt at high temperatures, with a glass transition temperature of approximately 345°C.
  4. Average flexibility, tends to form burrs when knotted.
  5. Good tensile performance, with a breaking elongation rate of 3.55%.
  6. Resistant to common organic solvents and salt solutions, but poor resistance to strong acids and alkalis.
  7. Sensitive to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, with a strength degradation of approximately 40% when exposed to sunlight for extended periods.
  8. Yellow in appearance.
